Main objectives of the Section on Psychoneurobiology are:
- the promotion of integration of findings from several research fields, such as neurophysiology, psychology, neuropsychology and psychiatry;
- to foster the understanding of psychopathology, as well as
- to improve diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric conditions.
