It is our pleasure to inform you that the Fourth Symposium on Biological Psychiatry / Psychopharmacology will be held in Bihać (Bosnia and Herzegovina) on 15-16 October 2010. The main organizers of this Symposium are the Associations for Biological Psychiatry / Psychopharmacology of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Department of Psychiatry of the University Clinical Center Sarajevo; and for the first time collaborating in this year’s Symposium as co-organizer is the Psychiatric Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABH).
This year's Symposium deals with themes of depression. The participation of speakers from all Universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and invited speakers from neighboring countries, give the Symposium an international character.
We expect a good response and the participation of many psychiatrists and neuropsychiatrists from the country. The Second General Assembly of the Psychiatric Association of Bosnia-Herzegovina (first after the registration of the Association in the competent ministry of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2008) will be held during the Symposium.
We will send a report about the Symposium in Bihać, the Bosnian town on the beautiful banks of the river Una, after its completion.
Izet Pajević, President of PABH
