Three new Comorbidity modules are now live on WPA’s Education Portal.
Developed by the WPA Action Plan Working Group on Comorbidity, the new modules cover depression and cancer, depression and diabetes and depression and cardiovascular diseases. The new modules were completed in January 2022.
The WPA Action Plan Working Group on Comorbidity, led by Prof. N. Sartorius, started its activity in January 2021. The focus of the group is to promote research activities and distribute educational activities focused on comorbidities, improve training on the management of comorbidity in people with severe mental disorders and organise symposia, meetings and debates on the topic of physical comorbidities in people with severe mental disorders.
The addition of the three new modules will further enhance WPA’s resources on Comorbidity available on the Portal. Existing materials developed in 2010, include presentations on these three important areas of Comorbidity in a number of different languages.
For the nominal fee of USD $15, it is also possible to purchase the WPA CPD Certificate and the associated CPD points for completing each module.
