New Module on "Anxiety Disorders" now live on WPA’s Education Portal


The new "Anxiety Disorders" module is now available on WPA’s Education Portal.


This course provides an insight into the epidemiology of anxiety disorders globally, outlines different types of anxiety disorders, and provides an overview of treatment options available. This module considers the management of younger people with an anxiety disorder, risk factors for younger people developing anxiety disorders and management considerations.


Designed for medical students, doctors and other health care providers with an interest in mental health.


This course was developed by Dr Pallavi Chandra (ST7 General Adult and Older Adult dual trainee. Black Country Partnership Foundation Trust), Dr Sally Arnold (ST6 General Adult trainee. Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust) and Prof Steven Marwaha, (University of Birmingham and Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Trust).


For the nominal fee of USD $15, it is also possible to purchase the WPA CPD Certificate and the associated CPD points for completing this module.
