Updated: Mar 16, 2021

The 21st WPA World Congress of Psychiatry will now be held virtually in October 2021.

As the COVID pandemic continues to affect lives across the globe and travel restrictions look set to remain for many, the WPA has taken the decision to hold our next World Congress of Psychiatry virtually. The meeting will take place 18-21 October 2021, and participants can expect the same high quality of presentations recently experienced at our first-ever virtual event. Feedback on last week's virtual congress was overwhelmingly positive, so we are already excited to gather again for another week of insightful discussions and presentations.

NEW Deadline for submitting abstracts is now 20 April 2021

We are very pleased to announce that the submission deadline for abstracts for the 21st WPA World Congress of Psychiatry has been extended until: 20 April 2021

Submitting an abstract comes with many advantages, a few of which are listed below:

  • Gain worldwide recognition,

  • Connect with your international colleagues and exchange knowledge,

  • Push your career forward - inspire and be inspired.

For more information on the rules and guidelines for submitting your abstracts, please visit the Congress website.

We look forward to your active participation!
