Guidelines for the translation of WPA
Educational Programs
Educational Programs
WPA Member Societies which are willing to undertake the translations of WPA Educational Programs
will make their proposals to the Secretary for Education.
Once the WPA EC accepts such proposal, the translation can be done. Local adaptations to such translation could be made by other Societies if the same language is spoken in other countries.
If a given society is not interested in translating a program, a colleague or group from that country will be able to do so.
The WPA will maintain the copyright of the translations.
The WPA Standing Committee on Education will appoint a committee whose members are native speakers of the language in question to review the translation.
If the WPA has funds, the translations will be published.
The WPA Member Societies which are willing to publish the Translated Program can do so if they agree to have WPA copyright on the material.
