Nominations Committee

The WPA Nominations Committee oversees and proposes candidates for all elected WPA positions in accordance with the By-Laws of the World Psychiatric Association. Appointed at least one year before elections and chaired by the WPA President, it verifies the eligibility and conduct of nominees, ensures compliance with WPA requirements, and submits valid nominations to the General Assembly. The Committee may also advise on voting procedures and provide feedback to improve future election processes.
