The new education module: “Bipolar Disorders with a special focus on youth” is now available on the WPA Education Portal.
This module aims to educate and refresh the knowledge of doctors of all grades dealing with patients with bipolar disorders from all over the world.
The module explores bipolar disorder and its treatment with specific reference to different groups. The course has information that suits both doctors practicing at consultant level and those in training. Information available in this module can also be of relevance to stakeholders and individuals interested in updating their knowledge and awareness of the topic.
This interesting module was developed by Dr Humaira Aziz MBBS, MRCPsych (Specialist Trainee in General Adult Psychiatry, West Midlands Training Scheme, UK) and Dr Louay Eltagy MB BCH, MRCPsych (Specialist Trainee in General Adult Psychiatry, West Midlands Training Scheme, UK.), and supervised by Professor Steven Marwaha BA, MA, MBBS, MRCPsych, MSc, PhD (Professor of Psychiatry, University of Birmingham, Institute for Mental Health, Consultant Psychiatrist-Specialist Mood Disorders Clinic, Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Trust, UK).
For the nominal fee of USD $15, it is also possible to purchase the WPA CPD Certificate and the associated CPD points for completing this module.
