This Section focuses on a broad range of common, burdensome, psychiatric disorders including anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders and disorders of behavioural addiction including problematic usage of the Internet. This is an exciting area of developing clinical practice.

As a Section, we provide a forum for practitioners and clinical academics to exchange experiences and research advances on all matters pertinent to these areas of psychiatry. We organise activities at the main WPA meetings or regional conferences, produce scientific publications and develop guidance on relevant topics.
